Finding Meaning: Wikipedia attributes the word ‘evolution’ to the Latin term ‘evolutio’ meaning “unfolding”. While the tech and Internet revolution have anything but “unfolded” upon us (“exploded” would be more appropriate, given the short span of time over which most Internet-related developments have occurred), there is something to be learnt from the nature of these changes.
A promo video of the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management in Dubai. The Academy is located near Jumeirah Beach and belongs to the Jumeirah Group of Hotels. The video also promotes the Jumeirah properties like the Burj al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Emirates Towers, etc and is mainly a marketing video with student testimonials and feature overviews. The Emirates Academy is one of the main hotel schools available in Dubai and has an affiliation with the Ecole Hotelerie de Lausanne (EHL) in Switzerland. The costs however are extremely high and for a little extra, most parents would opt to send their children to Switzerland or elsewhere in Europe / USA to complete their hotel management studies. A majority of the students in the Academy are from overseas, since Dubai offers a good sunny vacation while studying here and the Jumeirah group absorbs trainees and employees during and after their studies.
